We used 30 shots in 30 seconds to the song "What do you mean" by Justin Bieber. I learnt how to take long length shots and cut them down to one second and fit with other one second shots and for it to make sense. This was challenging as we had limiting time to make a 30 second shot into a slight narrative. In order to do this we took a variety of shots and angles to make it interesting and to make sure we had all the filming we needed. We tried different angles lie high shots and low shots to really make the show contrast in shots. We also used a variety of camera angles like over the shoulder shots. wide, medium and close ups to experiment. In the end we did have a lot of filming left over, which was better, that we didn't need which are in the pictures. We then tried to fit the shots with the music. To do this in the beginning we used shots that didn't have much content and look fairly similar and dragged the scene out as it was slightly slower. When the music progressed so did the scene as the shots had different content in it like a proper argument. For example we had lots of different shots of eyes, hands and mouth to show the argument which seemed to move faster than it was. Lastly we used the tree in the beginning and the flowers which broke the scene up helped establish the start and finish. I will consider all of these aspects into my music video as its made the editing easier and quicker to do.
